The Vault Downtown is located in a historic bank lobby in Bluefield WV. Our fine dining restaurant is led by Executive Chef Peter J. Zimmer. Chef Zimmer has traveled around the world while working his way up through the restaurant industry. He has opened some of the world’s finest restaurants including The Mansion on Turtle Creek, The Crescent Hotel and Crescent Club, Le Ambiance, three Sfuzzi locations, and Wolfgang Puck’s four renowned restaurants just to name a few.
Chef Zimmer works carefully with Sous Chef Ryan Tayloe and Manager/Mixologist Savannah Arrington to provide each customer with the ultimate in a dining experience. With several decades of combined experience in the restaurant industry, our team is devoted to making each diner feel special and exposed to the finest cuisine.
The Vault offers both fine dinings in the bank lobby, which was carefully restored from its early days as the Commercial Bank that started being built in 1921 and was completed in 1922. We offer a relaxing cigar bar located in the cellar with its menu of almost three dozen exquisite cigar offerings from both US and Central American sources.
