Wine Dinners at The Vault
The Vault Downtown is proud to announce the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our restaurant: wine dinners! During these dinners, guests will be served a curated selection of wines. Alongside each glass, Executive Chef Chris’ specially selected course of fine foods will be paired to suit the individual flavor profile of each variety of wine tasted.
These events will be held during our usual hours of operation, and the restaurant will not be open for regular business to ensure the highest standard of service during this time. The price per person will typically range anywhere between $130-$180, depending on the selection of wines and the food paired with each course. We will have limited seats available for these events!
After the event, guests will have an opportunity to purchase the wines we tried at an excellent, discounted rate!
We cannot emphasize enough how excited we are for these events! We guarantee it will be an evening you won’t forget anytime soon. From the lively, personable atmosphere to the delicious cuisine and wine, we are excited to enter this next stage in providing Bluefield and the surrounding areas unbeatable quality and service. These events are a labor of love proposed by our General Manager, Michael Pace, who will be ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently throughout.

Upcoming Dinners
We are excited to announce our next Wine Dinner, featuring Barboursville Vineyards!
The dinner is set for Wednesday, March 25th, 2026, and is set to begin at 6:00 pm. Once we have finalized our menu, we will have our per-person price; we expect the price to be between $145 per person, not inclusive of tax/gratuity.
Guiding our experience will be Barboursville Vineyards' Chief Sommelier Holly Rocco Feraci, who will provide details about each wine we taste. In addition to her Sommelier certification, Holly holds the WSET Diploma (DipWSET)—a globally recognized qualification equivalent to Advanced Sommelier and one level below Master of Wine and Master Sommelier.

We are proud to announce that our first wine dinner will be featuring Cakebread Cellars! We are working to get the menu finalized and will publish it as soon as it is ready. The dinner will be on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, and will begin at 6:00 pm. Once our menu is finalized, we will have a price per person ready as well, but we anticipate it being anywhere from $130-$180, depending on the selection of ingredients.
Additionally, we will have our fabulous wine representative, Ashley Short of Johnson Brothers of WV, explaining more information tableside about each wine we taste.
We will have a limited number of seats for the evening, and our restaurant will not be open for regular dinner service. We highly encourage you to reserve your slot sooner rather than later if you would like to wine and dine with us! It will be the first of many fun, delicious evenings.
